Liberty, Missouri

Liberty is located northeast of Kansas City. It once had four railroads, including both main lines of the Rock Island, the Milwaukee Road; a branch line of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy and a branch line of the Kansas City, Clay County & St. Joseph Railway, an interurban.
Today, Union Pacific and Canadian Pacific (DM&E) operate the Rock Island and Milwaukee Road, BNSF operates the CB&Q as a spur to Kearney, while the interurban was abandoned in 1933.
